Fishing a crank-bait in a small clearing adjacent to scattered grass in the 1215 area Wayne Moran wins the Many Bass Club’s June tournament with a 5 fish limit weighing 8.54 lbs.  Moran also wins Big Bass with a 2.74 lb lunker.  Richard Pesson claims 2^nd place with a 5 fish limit weighing 8.53 lbs and Ricky Leggett finishes the top three with 4 fish weighing 7.51 lbs.

A total of 27 fish were caught weighing 45.3 lbs for an average fish weight of 1.7 lbs. 

Fish are in a solid summer time pattern.  Try an early morning shallow water bite with Buzz Baits and top water plugs in pepper grass and then moving to the deep water ledges and points with crank-baits, carolina-rigs and worms will produce fish.  Reaction Lure’s finesse worm and Zoom’s Baby Brush Hog in watermelon and watermelon red caught the majority of deep water fish.
